Day At The Lake and Spear Building

I’ve been wanting to build a spear for a long time, so when Grandma and Grandpa came to visit this last weekend it was the perfect opportunity to build one with Grandpa. The first thing we needed for the spear was a perfect stick, so the first place we thought of to find one was the lake because of all the drift wood. So we went out on an adventure to find the perfect stick and after a few hours of diving, hiking and searching we finally found the right one. When we finally got the stick back home, the first thing we did was cut the rough edges off and smoothed it out. Once that first step was done we added rope for drip and feathers for looks. Then the last step was to create a point on the end by carving it down, since we did not have the perfect arrowhead.
