With the weather so nice yesterday my Dad and I decided to take a walk around Grandpa and Grandma’s pond. The first thing we noticed at the pond was the water level went down a lot, which was great because it made it so much easier to walk around. After playing in the mud and fishing for a while, we decided to walk across to the other side to check out the beaver dam. With the water level being so low we were able to see their tunnels for the first time. They had created multiple exits and entrances to and from their lodge. Seeing the beaver dam up close was one of the coolest things I’ve seen in a long time.
