Hungary is located in central Europe, but most importantly it is where my Mom’s parents originated from. During my research of Hungary I learned many things, like an architecture professor in Budapest invented the Rubik’s Cube. I also learned that one of the very first helicopter prototypes took flight in Hungary, which is pretty cool. But my all time favorite thing to come from Hungary is the dumplings that my grandma makes for me on a regular basis. Here is a picture of Hungary’s capital Budapest, a couple of the inventions that came from Hungary and also the greatest grandparents. An interesting fact is my Grandpa Steve was an inventor of medical device products. He started out as an engineer.

Michael, your great grandpa Illes (my dad) secretly built a 2 seater helicopter in the year of The Hungarian Revolution in 1956.
