One of my favorite things about the new house is all the deer that come onto our property on a daily basis. Since we see mostly the same deer’s, we decided we should probably start naming them. When we first moved in, the very first deer we saw was a doe and a fawn. After a few days, we decided the perfect name for them were ‘Mama Deer’ and ‘Spot’. Then, the next deer I named ‘Spike’, because he is a buck with just spike horns. Another favorite deer of mine is ‘Friendly’, the friendly doe. ‘Horney,’ the buck, has 3 points on one side and 4 on the other. Then, ‘King’, has really tall horns and seems to rule the neighborhood. We have a few others we’ve named. We will write about them another time. Here are some of the best shots of our neighborhood deer family.
